Some people wanted me to keep the mustache, some wanted me to shave it. Here's a compromise.
Yesterday, Microsoft announced the Xbox One, and there was much rejoicing. Now I'm just going to have to figure out what to do with all of my Xbox 360s... I know that the games won't be backwards compatible, but I don't really use 'em for gaming much, anyway.
Some have suggested that I just build a PC to do the job if I'm mainly using the consoles as media players, and that's a fair point. But if the Xbox One has the staying power of the Xbox 360, I believe I'm still taking the path of least resistance by investing in a couple to suit my particular needs.

I've been an "entrepreneur" since 1996, and my business has had its fair share of both ups and downs.
What you should know is that the top source of funding small businesses in the US is out of personal savings (not to mention a TON of "personal time" and sweat). This, according to a report commissioned by Intel and Dell.
I've never taken external funding (VC or angel money), unless you count the $50 my mom gave me back when LockerGnome first started. I've always figured out a way to avoid any kind of debt - though it's been an uphill battle, and I'm not sure what the future will hold for me.
