G+ lickety split rebuilt my photostory after I asked for it. If you prefer not to browse through the 100 photos album, here's your express route.

Lovely lady - +Kwanghui Lim or +Wailing Seto might know her? Like the finger position, they seem to be holding that hand pose.

+Paul Pavlinovich +Trace McLean - I spotted her dragons all of a sudden as she was passing and said "oh", she saw my reaction and gave me a smile.

I've finished the photos of the people in the Australia Day Melbourne Parade of 2015 - I have put new ones processed today and moved some from my Straya album into this so it's one album for anyone to have a look at.

Firstly, I must give my thanks to the people who took the time to engage with me - nearly everyone in the parade were in a really jolly mood and took the time to smile and look directly at me. This comes to 100 images (or so) of real fun.

I'll share a few highlight photos that I like in next posts.

Tech Details
+VANBAR PL  via +Frank Yuwono loaned us the  #Samyang  12mm f/2.0 Micro Four Thirds lens - it's a manual focus lens which I fixed at 1 metre focus, f/2 on a Panasonic GF-3 body (new but old) - I couldn't see much on the LCD so yes, there were some misses.

It was a Melbourne day, overcast and even drizzled for 15 minutes before the parade, then progressively into bright sun over the next hours. We were in the shade, pointing out - if we adopted a lower perspective to get the wide sweep, that meant the subjects were backlit. I didn't spend time peering and doing repeat test shots, after all, this is a fast moving parade.

The Panasonic raw files were processed through +Corel +AfterShot Pro 2 - yes, I have Lightroom, however AFP suits my mindset for this at this time.

I'll have to watch this. You know, right at the end, at the hotel reception, when Mortdecai turns around and gives that look? That's what Number One does to me. Often.

I couldn't tell whether he's just a staffer or he was reaching for his .45 so I didn't get to 1 metre fixed focus.... for Daniel Andrews and Alex Chernov.

+Paul Pavlinovich looked so good yesterday, the Marshalls decided he was an official photog and had to be there, in the privileged area.
