The BBQ boys (and birthday boy on the right!) from yesterday's B'Day BBQ.
Another local event which is always well attended and generates money for local charities. This year's nominated Rotary charity is:
The Haven in Titchfield.
The Haven is the UK's only specialist breast cancer charity that offers, completely free of charge, bespoke one-to-one support to improve the quality of life of anyone affected by breast cancer.
A good day out if you are in the area. :)

Bolder and more assertive. Unmistakable sportiness outside and inside.
I generally try to avoid posting music videos but I have followed these guys for a number of years and seeing them on tv the other day reminded me of what an excellent rendition this was. Yes I know it can't all be performed as in the vid and electronic cellos are required but it is still brilliant and has been buzzing around my head for a few days now!
When watching football (round ball, controlled only by feet) it's fiercely single city or country but when watching rugby, in particular the 6 nations, I take pride in each and every victory no matter what nation.
I was brought up exclusively on Welsh rugby until my early teens when I realised I was English and England were actually becoming quite good! But I admire each country for its own strengths and rarely wish either side to lose. I remember when Italy made the 5 nations 6 and thinking it was comical, a few great and unique players but not a competitive team at all but over the years they have grown and never given up and today I found myself rooting for them over Ireland, or maybe it is just that British thing of supporting the underdogs.
Either way, the camaraderie and spirit of the competition remain one of the best throughout the sporting world and may it continue for ever more.
